Simon Allford is running for RIBA president. As an employee of AHMM a few years ago Simon was my boss & on a few occasions I jokingly said he should go for this. His reply was always no way. As you may or may not know the current president has stepped down & Simon Allford has been critical of the current executive team and the lack of actual architects running the place. Things might get shaken up a bit.
