April 1896, and we still haven’t acted responsibly

Shortest day, longest night as the north and south poles reach their furthest point away from the sun and the sun appears as if standing still (possibly!). The days get longer from here on towards the summer. A good point to down tools, reflect on another year, and look forward to the next.
Seasonal best wishes and thanks to everyone the practice has worked with over the past twelve months.

A great evening organised by RIBA Cornwall, https://www.cornwallarchitecture.com/ talks and tour of the building by Twelve Architects https://twelvearchitects.com/project/bodmin-jail/ and Cornish Lime https://cornishlime.co.uk/about/?_gl=1l60yfy_upMQ.._gaODIwMDUzNzU0LjE3MDIyMzA0MTM._ga_MSJN169GP8*MTcwMjIzMDQxMi4xLjEuMTcwMjIzMDQyNS4wLjAuMA..

The practice has recently been appointed to oversee repairs to a 17th century timber framed house.

Two of the practice’s recent projects, nearing completion. Quite different buildings but both include MVHR whole house ventilation, heat pumps/UFH, high levels of insulation, triple glazing, and the usual attention to detail.
